Evaluate how the platform handles benefits plan setup and configuration, open enrollment workflows, carrier connection feeds, qualifying life event processing, COBRA administration, and ACA compliance reporting. If you're working with a benefits advisor or broker, involve them in the evaluation process. They've likely seen how different platforms perform across their client base and can offer a perspective you won't get from the vendor.
